I used to make a several tribute basses during the years, just to see how it fits from my angle. Of course, I only did that in time when I have a strong realization of a particular instrument (or builders intentions).
Some years ago, I made the MOTH, its a butterfly right… so, rather then store it, it may fly as well.
Very traditional sounding. Also a complex project it turned out to be.

- Body: Birdseye alder body with flame walnut top
- Neck: Canadian maple neck
- Fingerboard: Ebony (lined but fretless)

- Pickups: BassCulture custom made pickup, noiseless. Housed in a birdie maple cover. Graph-tech piezo saddles.
- Electronics: Bartolini preamp that mixes piezo and magnetic pickups
- Bridge: ABM monorail type bridge
